House Rules and Check-In / Check-Out Policies
which shall be deemed accepted by the guests upon booking confirmation
The villa is managed for services by the Swiss Tour operator Sardiniare SÃ rl, while the rental is guaranteed by the owner.
These rules may be subject to changes and additions at any time according to the needs of the tour operator Sardiniare or the villa owner.
The following information is recalled, requiring to pay particular attention:
1. Check-in and check-out
- Check-in from 15.00 until 22.00.
- Latest check-out time at 10.00
2. Inventory
Delivery upon arrival of the inventory of the furnishings that the tenant will have to take care of.
3. Keys & gate code
Delivery of keys: one set of keys composed of n. 1 gate remote control; n. 1 entrance door key; 1 pedestrian gate key and 1 manual driveway gate key.
The driveway gate can also be opened from the outside using the keypad with the code.
4. Cleaning
Cleaning services will be agreed upon and confirmed at the time of booking, while guests will also have the option to independently arrange suitable housekeeping staff.
5. Kitchen assistant
As for the kitchen, dining room, and barbecue area, Sardiniare may provide guests with a Kitchen Assistant, subject to arrangements that may be agreed independently between the parties.
6. Chef
Guests have the option to reserve an external chef for dinner throughout their stay. The chef is not part of the Fenandgi staff and Sardiniare and the owner assumes no responsibility for this chef. Guests will pay it from time to time according to their agreements.
7. Order and care of the furnishings
Guests are required to keep the house tidy and in perfect condition, facilitating the work of the maids and the assistant in the kitchen. Guests must therefore take care of the furnishings inside and outside the house. After swimming in the pool, it is strictly forbidden to enter the house with wet feet and swimsuits and / or sit on both indoor and outdoor sofas in wet swimsuits.
Particular attention must also be given to the decking under the pergola and around the pool, avoiding staining it with drinks or any other substances. Stains require special treatment which will be charged to the group leader.
8. Liability of the Group Leader for Damages and Deposit
The main guest (the one who booked the house) is solely responsible for damages to furnishings or to the house during the stay and is personally obligated to settle damages before departure. Depending on the number of adults and/or the number and ages of children, the Sardiniare manager or the owner reserves the right to request a reasonable deposit by bank transfer or in cash before arrival and house handover, which will be refunded no later than two days after departure if no damages have occurred. If the amount of the deposit is insufficient, the main guest is obliged to cover the higher amount.
If no deposit was requested before the guests' arrival and the House Keeper identifies damages during the stay attributable to the guests' inappropriate behavior, the Sardiniare manager or the owner may immediately request a deposit from the group leader to continue the rental period properly.
9. Laundry
Guests can use the laundry room equipped with washing machine, dryer, drying racks and ironing board. It is up to the guests to keep the laundry room tidy and clean.
10. Sheets, towels and pool towels
Sheets and bathroom towels will be changed twice a week. Daily change of pool towels.
A major change of sheets and towels incurs a cost of Euro 25 for bed linen and Euro 10 for bathroom towels.
11. Children
For the safety and well-being of children, they must be kept under constant parental supervision when they are at home, in the garden, by the pool and on the beach. The owner and manager disclaim all responsibility for bodily injuries occurring in these areas which are private including swimming pool and beach where there is no lifeguard staff on duty.
12. Swimming pool
The pool is equipped with electric shutters which we suggest to close in the presence of small children when not in use.
The pool is 1.20 m deep and has a beach with an average height of 20cm. Given the shallow depth it is strictly forbidden to dive.
The pool can be heated for an additional charge. When heated, the swimming pool must be covered at night using the designated electric pool cover.
It is strictly forbidden to use stand-up paddleboards or canoes in the pool, as they can cause serious damage to the pool lining.
It is recommended not to twist the foot covers on the pool bottom with your feet to avoid unscrewing them.
13. Umbrellas and sun loungers.
The umbrellas and sun loungers around the pool and in other areas of the property are entrusted to guests under their exclusive responsibility. Once opened, umbrellas must be constantly supervised to prevent wind gusts from damaging them and causing injury to people. Broken umbrellas will always be charged to the group leader.
Any damage to the sun loungers (stains from drinks or food, tears in the fabric due to negligence, or damage to the structure of the lounger) will also be charged to the group leader.
14. Pool robot
The pool is equipped with a wireless robot that works permanently in the water at night in order to keep the pool constantly clean. During the day it is parked in a corner of the swimming pool at its charging station. The wireless robot is totally harmless but it is strictly forbidden to move the robot from the charging station and in any case to get on or play with the robot and he charging station.
The technicians responsible for verifying the quality of the water will do their utmost to respect the privacy of the guests as much as possible.
15. Lawn robot
The lawn in front of the houses and on the pool and sea side is cut by a robot that operates at night but also in the late evening or early in the morning. It is forbidden to obstruct, touch the robot while it is at work especially for children because of its blades. It is also forbidden to touch or move the robot while it is parked at its charging station.
Part of the lawn needs to be cut with a lawn mower. While cutting the house staff will do their utmost to respect the privacy of the guests as much as possible.
16. Jacuzzi and Home-Fitness
The terrace on the first floor features a whirlpool, which may be included or excluded depending on the agreed rental contract. It must be used with due caution and following prior instructions, which must be requested from the house staff. Children are only allowed to use the whirlpool in the presence of adults.
The Home-Fitness, also located on the same terrace, is not included in the price unless expressly stated in the rental conditions. Upon request and for a fee, guests can use it, following prior booking and instructions from the caretaker. Under 16s not allowed unless accompanied by a parent at all times. The use of the cardio fitness equipment is entirely at the guests' own risk. The villa owner and the manager, Sardiniare, are exempt from any liability for injuries or damages resulting from improper or non-compliant use of the equipment.
The treadmill may only be used by individuals who are familiar with its operation and have sufficient experience. Use by inexperienced persons is prohibited unless under the supervision of a qualified personal trainer, which Sardiniare can provide upon request.
All fitness equipment must be returned to its proper place after use.
The jacuzzi and fitness equipment, when used without a coach, are entrusted under the exclusive responsibility of the user. Any damage due to negligence or improper use will be charged to the group leader.
17. Beach
The beach in front of the house is not private. For the greater comfort and privacy of guests, sun loungers and umbrellas are made available by the beachfront pool.
18. Mosquito nets
All bedrooms have mosquito nets. We suggest to always leave them closed, paying attention with the sliding frames not to cross them. Damaged mosquito nets will be charged to guests.
19. Air conditioning
All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning. It is strictly forbidden to leave the air conditioning on when the windows and / or door rooms are open. The air conditioning running for a long time with the windows open risks blocking the motherboard of the heat pumps which, in this case, will be charged to the guest.
The two lounges (on the lower and upper ground floor) are equipped with large sliding patio glass doors that usually remain open to create a single environment with the verandas and the garden, allowing guests to pass from one area to another without opening and closing larges sliding glass doors. In these two rooms, therefore, the air conditioning can be turned on only if guest want to keep closed the sliding glass doors.
20. Outdoor garden and pool area lights
The pool lights and those that illuminate the plants in the garden have a timer and will turn on automatically from 21.00 to 23.00.
21. Separate waste collection
The waste must be deposited in the special containers organized for separate collection. Fenandgi’s staff will deliver them to the urban collection circuit.
22. Internet
Fenandgi is located in an area not covered by ADSL, with connection to the home network only possible with a 4G router. Surfing the Internet with the home network will therefore not be very fast and slows down if multiple users connect to the same network at the same time.
It is therefore not possible to download films and videos, while for those who have a NETFLIX subscription, they will be able to view the series and films by connecting to the smart TV of their room or those in the two living rooms.
23. Audio for music
The villa has three "Boom" speakers in the main living room on the lower ground floor that can be positioned in the preferred areas inside and outside. To connect to the speakers, you need to download the "ultimate ears" application. Music must be listened to at a volume that respects the neighbourhood.
24. Nespresso machine and minibar
The bedrooms are equipped with a Nespresso machine and a fridge. Guests can make use of the Nespresso machine and the fridge with their own capsules and drinks.
25. Safe and valuables
All rooms are equipped with safe with electronic opening. The basic code (1 - 2 - 3 - 4) can be changed by removing the battery cover inside, by pressing the red button that will emit a beep to allow you to register your personal code.
Valuables must be deposited in the safe. For the loss of objects left unattended not due to the negligence of Fenandgi’s staff, the manager, owner of the villa and the entire Fenandgi staff, decline all responsibility.
26. Video surveillance
Although Sardinia, in particular the area where Fenandgi is located, is characterized by a very low rate of crime, Neverless, Fenandgi is equipped with video surveillance with external cameras active 24 / 24h as well as perimeter surveillance.
27. Home automation
Fenandgi is equipped with home automation accessible from various screens positioned in the upper and lower ground floor stairwell, as well as remotely. It is strictly forbidden for guests to use any screen which must remain at the exclusive disposal of the Fenandgi staff. Incorrect use of the screen commands can block the systems.
28. Stand up paddles and canoe
Two stand up paddles and a canoe are available to adult guests included in the rental fee. Guests must take care of the same and undertake to compensate for any damage that may be caused to such equipment.
The SUP boards (stand up paddle) and the canoe are stored in a designated rack and must be neatly returned to the same position after use.
30. Electric shutters
All window shutters are electrically operated.
31. Technical interventions on the various installations
Guests are informed that, in order to ensure the proper functioning of all installations, various technicians must have free and immediate access to the property. As for the external installations, technicians must be able to intervene in the external technical rooms and the pool without prior notice to the guests, as they have the code to the outer gate: pool technicians for water control whenever necessary, gardeners for the irrigation system, and electricians for the lighting system. Guests will receive advance notice for interventions inside the house only. In case of emergencies, technicians will access the internal equipment even in the absence of guests, who will still receive prior notice by phone or via WhatsApp.
32. Housekeeper and staff
The villa has a small apartment for the Housekeeper and few members of its staff with separate entrance, in full respect of the privacy of the guests.
The Housekeeper’s duty is to ensure that all systems and facilities are functioning properly and, whenever necessary, to arrange for the appropriate technicians to intervene.
